2021-22 Season Dates

Can't wait.

Dang, they need to get Deer and Duck openers on the same date.

I wish someone could provide a good explanation that makes sense as to why S TX always gets 2 more weeks to hunt than does the hill country.
Why can't they simply open up the HC season 2 weeks earlier than S TX and even things out.
I mean isn't there still more deer/acre in the HC than in S TX. SMDH

I think it's just a holdover from pre MLD. The big money/influencers hunting STX had the season changed to start later and end later, but then it just changed to add 2 weeks to STX.

Nothing ever changes on TP&W seasons. They take input and then do whatever they want to.

How much time do you need to kill a deer? There are always exotics.

Not sure where you got your chart but TPW web site shows deer openers on Sundays, Doesn't seem correct but here's a copy
