I have not seen a feeder/blind/trap mfg that made that style trap door for sale on a large scale in my area. On occasion I did see them for sale at welding shops in the Hill Country or South Texas areas.

All Seasons Feeders sells a version of it that only has one saloon type door that has a spring on it to keep it shut.

Boss Hawg makes one (is what I use) but they are in Hockley, Texas.

They sell to various feed stores, outdoor outlets, etc.....

Just call them and see who they supply to.

I built my own and it worked but had issues. Took it down and put a simpler spring loaded 4ft gate. Feed several days before i hook gate spring up which is held open with cord that goes around pen to a stick underneath a concrete block filled with corn and lots of corn on top and around it. Tractor Supply sell a rooter gate that works well also. Got one of those and its caught lots of hogs.

why not just make one of the panels so the hogs can push through to get in, but can't get out.

I use big hose clamps and a cordless drill to lock the frame to the t posts. Those u bolts suck trying to tighten up,

I had one I bought off Craig’s list years ago. The fellow that was making them was from Austin.

Question out of curiosity, do y’all actually have hogs that push through those gates once the trap slams shut? I’ve used some junky traps before that had gates that could be pushed open from the outside if other hogs wanted in but only caught one or two small ones at a time. Now these were just small box style traps, I can see hogs maybe rooting into a trap the size of the one that flint posted

I've run a saloon door on one trap for about a dozen years now. Caught many hundreds of hogs and not ONCE confirmed that any from the outside continued to push their way in. I usually have a game cam (set on video) on my traps. Had hogs come and pull at the doors once closed, try to root under them, bite them, run into them, etc....

Has anyone ever seen a pig jump/climb over the top, not a YouTube video? I use this same door but welded pieces of tubing so I can run rebar to lock down the panels. My panels are 50” tall and was watching some pigs run around this afternoon in my trap and I was thinking about those videos of pigs climbing out of traps. My panels are 50” tall and 8’ long with 1” square tubing on the outside and a vertical on down the middle of the panels.

They will absolutely try to jump and climb out. I've lost quite a few that way...and that is with 60" panels.
