I don't know about hunting, but I was trying to do some sniping.
'Just walked back to the house from the closest blind. When I got there, the blind had blown over from yesterday's wind. The good news is, it's a double-wide "Blynd" and I just tipped it back over and there was no damage.
Sleety rain and starting to get down-right bitter. Watched a beautiful 8 I've watched before, but I just can't bring myself to shoot him. "Hook Brow" I call him 'cause his brow tines hook forward. Also saw something I'd never seen before, a big bruiser axis buck (short, velvet horns right now) come running in with the WT does when the feeder went off. And he hung out the whole time.
We should wake up to snow in the morning. 'Believe I'll take the pickup out, if I go out in the morning.
