Rice just got harvested and we made the most of it. Chased one hog down in the ranger, the other one we picked off in the field. [Linked Image]

One of the most fun things to do. No red lights needed, just a heavy foot on the skinny pedal and a co-pilot to ring their bell

Lol no kidding. I read somewhere that we have to wipe out something like 70% of the hog population every year just to keep up with their growth.

Our lease neighbors have 7500 acres of coastal bermuda that supports a huge cattle operation. Several times in the winter they get in 3 side by sides with enough lights to scare a crab boat and patrol all night. Once they find a sounder, they call the others by CB and start running and gunning. 27 is their high 1 night total as of last season. Looks like a lot of fun but they shoot a ton of ammo. Nice pic.

That sounds like one heck of a time. We did something similar in west Texas once. We had a corn field full of hogs and circled it in 2 rangers and knocked out a ton of pigs.

Awesome. We love running down pigs.
It doesn't matter where we spot them we instantly switch into killing pigs mode.
It is fun when they get up against a fence, most pigs will just follow the fence, we get close enough to shoot them with the judge.
In a field with a shogun and buck shot is another easy way we get them.

buck shot with shotgun for pig hunting is the way to go no doubt!
