Carnivore - 07/11/20 04:29 PM

Just wanted to let you know Mr Roberson, we turned on the folks down at The Library Sports Grill and Brewery last evening to your Carnivore show. With such little live sports on the TV we put 2 of their tvs on hunting shows. Your hog hunt show was quite entertaining and very interesting for our non hunting friends.
Thank you for such an entertaining and well shot show.
I need a hog knife now !

Thank you so much for the kind words. I thought that this was a great show as it happened just as we portrayed. A Menard school teacher who's family owns ranches here sees my facebook post with the oldest hog I have ever caught and responds. I knew Kimberly and thought that if she would go with us on a hunt that it would be interesting to see how someone who has never been on a hunt like this might respond. As you can see, she was quite the trooper and never hesitated to do anything that we asked of her. I bet she will get a lot more respect from the 5th grade class when the students see how she wields a knife. Thanks again.
I hope that some of your non-hunting friends can see how many hogs there are in a county where there were none less than 20 years ago.
Thanks Again!
Gary

P. S. We will be airing again at 12:30 PM today and 6:00 PM tomorrow.

We've done our best to educate them, we take a few friends down to hunt hogs almost every year.
The dogs were amazing .
Thanks again for a great show.

Thanks so much TCM3, the PursuitUp app is really cool, only problem is that they will not air this season's shows until January. I am glad that you liked the show and know that you will enjoy the lion and bear hunts in beautiful country.
Thanks and Adios,
Gary

Alyssa was a trooper and never showed any signs of quitting. When I told her that I would take her hunting, I didn't know just how bad her vision was until we called the hog to about 40 yards and she had difficulty seeing. That's when I realized that getting a cat in a tree with the sky in the background might be our best bet. We started out with the Ruger American .22 WMR with a Trijicon RMR sight on it and she had no problem seeing the red dot. As the morning progressed, and the skies got brighter, she lost the ability to see the red dot.
This was a very rewarding hunt and a trophy well earned for Alyssa. A HUGE shout out to my buddy, Shorty Gorham and his hounds because we would not have gotten done without him.
Thanks and Adios,
Gary

Had your show on yesterday while waiting for football to start at The Library.
I'd like to know how to get a copy of your book, the spouse was very interested when he saw it on the show.
