TPWD Point System

I have tried my research but can't find anything that clearly outlines how Texas point system works within reference to draw odds. I am familiar with different types used such a preference, bonus, and no point systems so just understanding which it is would be helpful, I've included the link that talks to the point system but again I don't clearly see the way they are applied. I started applying multiple states in the west and here in Texas 3 years ago so I will have 3 points in almost all rifle categories and would like to know how it works. I understand it the more points you have in that category that is how many "raffle tickets" you have in hat when it's time to draw.

Yep, exactly. Texas use a pure bonus point system.
