What time of the year do you renew your hunting lease?

Just curious as to what month of the year other hunters renew their lease to see if there's a time that's most common.

Also, is yours a year-round lease or just for the fall hunting seasons?

Year round lease, 50% due landowner 4/15 and second half by Aug 15th.
Over 20 years on this lease in Stephens Co.

ours is a year round lease. We used to pay 1/2 in the summer the other 1/2 in Oct. Now the LO's son took over and we have to take it all in Oct. Last year it was the weekend before the gun opener.

mine is year round although I only go during off season to fill feeders, do minimal work and then I leave. I don't make myself much of a nuisance during the off season. Landowners don't hunt but they do utilize the property and they work around my schedule during season so I am courteous during the off season

I'm not on a lease anymore, but when I was they were all year around leases and they all renewed on Sept. 1.

Year round lease, half due May 15 and the other half on September 15.

Got off mine last year. It was due in Feb. and Oct. I've heard stories. Waiting to see if my friends renew. 'Spinning outa control...

Why in the world would you walk away from such a gold mine of information and potential learning?

Year round, 1/2 in March before spring turkey then 1/2 in August before dove season

We renew our year round lease in March each year.

June 1st is when my lease agreements say lease money due in for the 10 leases I manage. Have a hunters meeting around 1st of may and pass out new leases. If only all would get payment on time it would be great but seldom happens. Year round leases.

Only been on 2 leases in my life. One for 2 years, was only a deer lease but had year round access to fill feeders maintain blinds etc. Money paid before first day of season.

Second was on for 20 years, had year round access same as before but this one had hogs and exotics we were occasionally allowed to hunt exotics and always welcome to hunt hogs. Paid 1/2 on july first and the rest before opening day.

Second one was an awesome place, great property better people, I couldn't have asked for more. They have been great friends.

most that I have been on required were 1/2 in either June or July and the rest day before opening weekend. The last several have been 100% in either June or July ... all have been year around leases.

Price due date?? Not sure seems flexible and asked for two different times throughout the year. I can assure you my wife knows exactly when every deer lease payment has ever been made

Deer, Turkey, Dove, Hogs, varmints only. Specifies in lease, no quail hunting. Been there 13 years, heard bobwhite call one time.
