Or should I say binocular...
Last Thursday, Deb and I drove to San Marcos for the Texas State TTHA Banquet. I donated a Vortex Viper 10x42 Binocular that was to be the prize for who guessed closed to the gross score of a mounted whitetail with double drop tines. Since I donated the prize for the contest, I was not going to guess the buck's B&C score but a couple of the young ladies wanted me to guess.
I looked at the buck for a minute and scored him 203. As it turned out, the buck scored 202 2/8" and I did not win as another gentleman scored him 202.
Now I know why the young ladies had a shocked look on their faces when I made my guess.....
