Do any members do stock refinishing for rifle stocks? Info please......

I have done it and thinking now about refinishing a shotgun stock this winter.

It is not hard and there are a lot of youtube videos showing different techniques.

There are a lot of easier ways to finish a stock, but this is one of the very best ways to get a very nice professional looking stick.

when you dampen unfinished wood some of the fibers swell and when you run your hand over the wood it feels like whiskers.
