can a landowner get in trouble if they let people hunt on their land that dont have a hunting license? if said hunter claims to have license in passing and game warden shows up and turns out they are hunting illegally, would the land owner be held liable?

I doubt it. But if the landowner charges for the hunt he should have a lease license.

No, it's not the landowners problem. But if the LO is charging, they are supposed to have a lease license. I don't know if that is really enforced though.

It is. That is why the name of the place where the animal was taken has to be written on the tag.
