Best place to find these local, DFW? Want a tall (18") yet narrow one. I need to make a few modifications and mount it to my platform to dry store a few things in during deer season.

Don't know if it's the best, but my son-in-law took me to Omaha's on Whitmore in Fort Worth.

If you want tall and narrow you want a MK19 40 mm grenade can

Yeah, what's the dimensions on something like that? My platform is open, set up with a tree behind. I could camo spray it for a bit of cover when I move my feet to thaw them out.

I’m not sure exact dimensions. I have this one I don’t use it’s about 12 in tall, 10 in long, and about 5 in wide if you want it You can have it for the price of shipping.

You might get it in a medium flat rate box for about $10, still more than the can is worth.

15H x 18L x 8W inches. Seals up tight, has o ring.
bought at Army Navy surplus in Carrolton less than $20. I use it for tow straps, chains etc storage on trailer.

Thanks, that's what I'm after. Drill two holes, mount it to platform. I'll take the metal handle off, and the latch and go with a rubber strap to close. Lid and latch are noisy.
