Sometimes you don't need protein. Just a little age

This Buck jumped in a couple of years ago and stayed. He looked about 3 at that time. So now he should be a little over 5 years old. He does not get any protein unless the Ibex are not around which is not that often. At least I think he is not to shabby for a Hill Country Deer.

Nice buck and more than likely he wouldn’t have made it this long on the other side. That’s why your regular ol landowners have taller fences now......neighbors that view deer hunting differently from them.
