Live from the Eastern Cape with Allan Schenk Safari

Made it in finally beautiful lodge in the hills of the Eastern Cape, unpacked exchanged some gifts, already feels like we have known each other for years, had kudu sausage and steak for dinner, fantastic fire pit, and the castle lite and enjoyed making our plan for the next week and will start hunting at 6 am in the morning, lechwe is up first, and targets of opportunity as we hunt. Kacee and I will try to give details as we go with photos and as live hunt as possible, will be some great videos as we have professional cameraman here at the lodge currently to video and take photographs. Will try to make as informative and descriptive as we can.

Been out of signal. We are having excellent hunt with Allan Schenk Safari total free range hunting in the Eastern cape, this area is beautiful and the mountains are tough. Kacee had a four hour stalk today on her lechwe, she has also taken a gold medal mountain rhebuck, and she finally has taken her springbuck. The eastern cape is incredible and such beautiful country.

She is doing well and all are on video. The views here are incredible. Will post more pics later.

She harvested this bull at 303 yards after approx 1 mile stalk straight up hill. Kacee is doing her thing this week. I am blessed to be able to provide her the opportunities to do what she loves to do since she was a little girl. Proud Dad moment on this stalk and shot.

BMD, any tick problems? I was there a year ago and, 2 days after coming back, got tick fever. Wound up with a lung infection. It was nasty.
We were in the Limpopo area in June.

No Kacee had one tick but was just crawling on her they had just had a freeze which may have helped.

Thanks videos will be coming to post soon. It was a fantastic trip and the Eastern Cape is a challenging hunt no riding around safari style shooting from the truck for sure. It was fantastic hunting free range mountains in Africa.
