A great Christian lady and I think that she personified what a First Lady should be. God bless her soul as well as the Bush family.

I was lucky enough to meet Mrs. Bush in 1991, I belonged to a service organization when I was a student at Sam Houston State. She was the keynote speaker at one of our events, she donated her speaking fee to the general student fund. Said her reward was connecting with young people. That was 27 years ago and I never forgot it... She also gave me the greatest hug I have ever gotten, next to my own Grandmother! Fair winds and following seas, Mrs. Bush, you were a shining example of what we should all aspire to be!
