You can only upload jpg or png formats.
This is what I get when I try just like a pic. My laptop has it saved as a GIF file, not jpg or png

Oh I see, you're using the inline uploader and not the image link

I think the inline will only do those two formats. You could try to upload it to a free online image host like imgur to post it
