How can I edit a Title on a thread

I would like to How can I edit a Title on a thread. I did the search feature but could not find anything.

I believe you can edit a thread title by clicking the edit button on the first post of the thread.
But it seems you omy have a certain Amount time to edit it then it's disabled .
