10 adults trying to make as many as we can before we either get too drunk, tired or angry at each other. Of course which ever one comes first haha

The wife went to visit the son in Mission and brought back four dozen from Delias Tamales, best store bought tamales hands down.

Love it. Best deer blind breakfast on a cold morning. We wrap in foil and put on top of the Buddy heater.

This definitely was the beer of choice for the night, we ended up finishing out at about 20-21 dozen. It was a long one

Nice on tamales
I have the hookup...Mexican family in Cotulla that worked years for my family on the ranch.
First of December i take em all the makings including hog head and a deer hindquarter or two.
They make em and split em 50/50 with me. My cut usually 25-30 dozen
Everyone that’s ever shoved one down their piehole say they’re best ever.
And I must concur

I hated this time of year...... lol my grandmother would make hundreds and hundreds of tamales. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner for weeks. To this day I won't touch one.

Yes they are.

We're about to have our annual family tamale making party again. My family normally makes 60-80 dozen at these get togethers, 100 dozen was the most I believe. I'm the meat and sauce man.
