People can say what they want about Gundy. He hits 9-10 wins a season about half the time. He is never in top 30 in recruiting classes.

A&M says they are one or two plays from being 8-0. They’re also one or two plays from being 1-7. Only solid win was Sam Houston State.

Every team has a near miss. Tennessee and Pitt went to OT. Georgia and Mizzou went to last play. Clemson has had a couple close calls.

Clemson could lose their undefeated status this weekend against ND.

Last year Georgia was pretty dominant all year, no close calls. Just the loss in SEC championship.
