Sure needed Ezekiel to do a little something to help me in fantasy. Dude just plain sucks these days. Knew I should of passed on that joker. Thought he was a steal in the 6th round. Nope

No way Dallas comes from Behind.

Ceedee Lamb dropped an easy TD.

He totally redeemed himself with those back to back catches, one for a TD. I replayed those two which I normally don’t do. Man is talented

I like Rush, not going to like seeing him on the bench.

Rush is not better than Dak at QB, but Cowboys play better and as a team when Rush is the QB. Odd situation.

I am seeing the very same thing. Chemistry is an interesting thing.

He’s not mobile, but he is accurate. And he stands strong in the pocket and doesn’t wince when the pressure is on. I predict he continues to play well and that that puts pressure on Dak to perform when he comes back… so it should be a good thing. Cause Dak has been looking very skittish back there as of late

Re: Cowboys vs Giants. - 09/27/22 02:23 PM

From a business perspective.

You pay Dak 30 million a year for no playoff wins.
You can pay Cooper Rush 95 percent less and have the same result.

Sort of the Jimmy Garoppolo effect. He's a good game manager that's not going to put a team on his shoulders. And the team somehow knows they have to rally around him to get the job done. And they do it. Problem is teams like that are regular season winners and don't seem to go deep into play-offs. Last one I remember winning a Superbowl was Joe Flacco.

75 total yards and a TD....what are you expecting from a 6th round fantasy pick?

Re: Cowboys vs Giants. - 09/27/22 02:51 PM

The game has passed Eliot by. #20 is the better back with a break away threat. Eliot is just Jerrys fav, or he would be a long gone Sally.

Got to order me a Cooper Rush Jersy.

Agree on Elliot, maybe trade bait for some sucker team?

Eliot may be carrying too much weight to be fast any more. Maybe he can cut his hair and beard and lose about 20 pounds.

Sucker team would have to have a new blind GM.

Easy Buzz. I think Rush is on a 1 year deal. Probably gone next year to be a career backup.

A. Midseason NFL trades rarely happen
B. No team besides Cleveland has salary cap space to add a contract like Zeke's midseason (and Chubb is way better)
C. It's widely assumed that Dallas will cut Elliott b/c he's got a $17mm cap hit for 2023. No team would ever trade for a guy that will be available for a fraction of the cost next year.

JJ has to be the greatest GM of all times Go Cowboys

Re: Cowboys vs Giants. - 09/27/22 05:35 PM

I dont claim to understand football all that much but it seems Rush is way more accurate than Dak. The defense looks very good. The rookie at LT seems to be doing ok. The little return guy seems able to do pretty good.

This is typical for a new QB, give teams a few more games and they’ll have Rush figured out.

Cowboys did good!

IMO...trade Elliott for some talent. Tony Pollard is the future for the Cowboys.

Re: Cowboys vs Giants. - 09/27/22 07:06 PM

Not playing Dak in the preseason, is going to come back and bite Dallas in the azz.
I don't care who you are, you need to get game time reps in so you can see and feel the speed of the game.

It’s a 2 back league. They need them both

I think the future is not with Dak or Rush

They need to draft a QB and try and take advantage of the defense while it’s good.

Like I said...trade Elliott for some talent (fill in the blank). Elliott is lazy and worthless in my opinion.
