Just heard that the metromess will be the 3rd largest population behind only New York city and LA by 2040. Not good, not good at all.

I started driving to my current job (20.4 miles one way) in 2007. It took me 27 minutes then. Now on a good day it's 41 minutes. I-20 has become that overloaded with all of the people moving here.

I’m glad I’m out of that mess. Seems like a different life I had now.

I'll be 80, but judging by what now feels like, I seriously doubt I'll make it that far on this side of the river. I35 should be a real hoot! Have fun! up

Yeah it sucks sometimes. I cover the entire DFW area, today I drove to Downtown Dallas, Addison, Farmers Branch,McKinney the Caddo Mills and back home. I left at 8:00 this morning and was home by 3:00. Not too bad, but I avoided rush hour.

I used to drive an 18wheeler through DFW quit often, it sucked then, can’t imagine now, but so did Houston, Los Angeles, Chicago , NYC and multiple others. Glad that’s over with.

all you did was drive apparently. couldnt have done much in each city you traveled to. or had a good traffic day.

It’s already #4 if you weren’t aware…all it requires for it to take the #3 spot is to overcome Chicago…which, their population is constantly dropping. Excessive murder and all. Doubt it’ll take that long. Probably a decade sooner than that
