Figures, I went to Walmart for the meat then brookshires for the beer. Never compared prices, glad I didn’t, would have pissed me off. Me and the Natty Light are enjoying the shade while the high rent pork cooks.

Wife came home with some bone in pork chops. They were also $3.23lb. They were $1.99lb.. last week.

Ouch that is a lot of $$ for Pork Butt (PB)

I bet the grocery stores will have some decent meat sales for Memorial Day and July 4th.
Concerned the days of .89¢ lb for PB and $1.68 lb for choice brisket are over and its mainly to do the idiots running this country.

FYI Tom Thumb has their Chicken Leg quarters in 10 lb. bag on sale for .39¢ lb. It is their digital sale and limit 1 bag but you do not have to buy anything else to get them!
That is great deal because they are big quarters.
