Flat Earthers.

Ever run into any? Are you one? I haven’t met one, yet, but I do have a close friend that has discovered the idea and seems to be more than entertained by it. He says he’s not a believer, but he keeps coming back with more nonsensical Tic Toc videos every time I debunk them or direct him to a video that does. I just can’t understand why people believe this garbage.

I would have created a poll to see if anyone here is one of those goofballs, but the Grayson County trolls would have skewed it, so I’m just asking.

The earth is not PERFECTLY flat. It's actually tilted from east to west. That's why everything loose rolls to California.

I love this guy. That’s awesome.

I am 100% in the round earth camp, but I am incredibly fascinated by this movement. I've gone deep into that rabbit hole and it is endlessly entertaining. I think there is a lot to be learned from it as far as how significant numbers of people can believe something that is completely, demonstrably, false, despite literal mountains of evidence against it.

The BIL of one of our lease members is and hunts with us once a year. Makes for very entertaining discussions after hitting the brown water. Their explanations of the stars and moon is just insanity. They have zero logic or brains.

When somebody I don’t want to talk to insists on talking to me, I begin to talk about how the earth is flat, ends that unwanted interaction pretty damn quick.

Encountered some at a function in Scottsdale, Az recently. They started explaining...I stopped em and asked if they had done too much acid in their youth. They seemed perturbed.
I left. Lady friend came home later and told me I was rude.

There is no response to someone that believes in flat earth that can be construed as rude. Any response that is not in agreement is okay. The people that actually believe this are perpetuating a disease.

Try talking to those that believe the earth is 50,000 years old and mankind co existed with dinosaurs.

I am 100% convinced that no one (excluding those who are legitimately insane) actually believes that the earth is flat. People are desperate to feel like they belong to something, even if it seems completely ludicrous.

I think the flat earth society and the birds aren’t real movement are elaborate trollers that pick up some true believers (who really are that stupid) along the way and are happy, because the idiots help legitimize the troll. I think it’s funny.

If you paid attention to the “birds aren’t real” then you would know that it is 100% a troll group and pure satire. Not so much with the earth is flat people
