Well, looks like we got what we wanted. He's "retiring" after just about killing the NRA.

SO,

Where will "we" go from here? For so many years we have counted on the NRA and their juggernaut of lobbyists to protect our gun rights. What will happen now?

The once feared NRA is losing memberships...FAST.....say what you want but, in the past, the NRA was our front-line defense against all the anti's.

Gavin Newsome is off the rails with his new anti-AR rifle plan. Makes me sick.

Are the Anti=Gun groups gonna win?

I am glad crooked Wayne is gone though.

If they can do some further taking out the trash, I may support them again.

The NRA was losing membership due to Wayne and his spending. Now if other board members that want to do as Wayne did are gotten rid of, excessive spending stops, and they get back to the core of what they are suppose to be doing membership will start to rise again.

I use to think so but with guys like Famous Amos and EarthKid going full frontal on gun rights I’d say we are headed the way of Australia quicker then we think. This is a TEXAS hunting forum that has members championing for gun control. Liberal media has won perception and now influences and some cases even controls thought.

Gun owner ship will be aristocratic in nature only in a decade or two.

No NRA lost membership due to media waging a war and influencing opinion and thought. They will do exact same to you if you where new face of the NRA

This is why we no longer can use lead shot for migratory birds. Straight up federal protections around bald eagles and given them secondary lead poisoning

Buzz, where are you getting your information that Wayne is retiring? I haven’t seen anything other than a 23 year board member and ally of Wayne resigned on Thursday.

Exactly. Some politicians want to have guns banned for the simple reason they intend to do things we would shoot them for.

Tom Sellick for president. He was once a board member. He doesn't need the money and has no baggage that I'm aware of.

I use to think so too.
I know gun owners that vote democrat and say “ THEIR NOT GETTING MY GUNS!”
And then say AR’s aren’t made to hunt with, so people shouldn’t have them. Not realizing that in reality they are after their single shot, shot guns along with everything else
Pure lunacy!
