I was spending time with a girl named Laurie a couple of years after the LD series came out. I referred to her as Laurie Darling for several months until she realized where I got that. She was not to thrilled being compared to a bar room harlot.

Should have reminded her that whores have hearts too

Great scene. It was all downhill for Gus after he went after the buffaloes.

The bar scene is hands down the best , when the bartender disrespects them. Epic.

Best movie ever made! Demonstrates comradery among men, friends, and women. No feelings. Matter of fact. Straight to the point. But there is only one Laurie Darling, and it’s Diane Lane!
