Who knows, I just wish they could change the weather like they whacked the threads so I could go hunting in something besides shorty shorts and half tops without sweating my coo coo’s off. I went to pull cards and said the hell with it after 30 minutes.

They do tend to disappear sometimes and without warning. Some go to the Bunker, while others are completely gone. It would be nice to know why a particular thread got deleted. Or maybe I'm asking too much?

We lost a bunch of threads to a hacker. If you are talking about one thread being moved, just PM a moderator if you have a question. We are happy to answer you, but don't make a post every time a thread is moved and don't know who has a question until they ask.

Bill, with all due respect, I think it's a valid question. Some people put a lot of time and energy into a post. It's a little disheartening when that post disappears. And what if a particular individual doesn't have access to the bunker and a thread he or she was posting in ends up in there? Heck, I didn't even know about the bunker before I started posting in the OT. I've spent most of my time here in the classifieds. That's why I had ask about it. On most forums a mod will inform members if there is a change in a threads status; whether it's getting moved, deleted or whatever be the case.

I'm not trying to start waves here, just trying to understand why the way things are the way they are and if they can maybe be improved upon. I understand what J.P. was saying, but a lot of folks just aren't going to bother asking what happened to a thread. But then there are others who would appreciate knowing what happened to it and why it was deleted or moved.

I hope I'm not overstepping my bounds. If so, I apologize.

I guess the lost threads are just forever lost? I know a moderator was hacked and can see the obvious intentions of defrauding others in the classifieds, but to just erase a month worth of stuff in the Open Hunting section, seems like the work of an anti hunter. If so, I guess they accomplished their goal.

I’m still sad about my pepper thread that sent me to the dark side this year.
