Chit show goes on

I mentioned that the oldest BiL had the virus, followed by his wife dying from it. Well, he up and died today, months after the virus, and we have no idea why, and may never find out. The other BiL had a tumor taken off his spine, at the neck. He isn’t allowed to go fishing yet, and his true love is crappie fishing. And you’ve heard enough about my issues.

This has been, as my wife says, a real Chit Show. Just seems to go on and on. I could use a strong drink, but can’t do it at present.

So, you guys might have a stiff drink in my place. I’ll catch up in a couple of weeks. Drink the good stuff.

Also just found out the the adorable step-granddaughter in Hawaii (vaxxed) is very sick. And an old tennis buddy and his wife are both in the hospital with the virus.

For heavens sake, stay healthy…

There was a story recently that was a murder suicide. They were both covid positive and the cause of deaths were listed as covid.

From your posts and with your attitude, I get the feeling I would really like to meet and have a shrimp cocktail, just so happy we aren't related.

Hudbone, the shrimp cocktail sounds great, once I’m allowed to eat one. When able, we’ll meet you there and the chow is on me. I hope you like spicy, cause there are jalapeño bits in it. Time you get to the bottom, your lips will be burning. It’s a big cocktail.

But first…Gall bladder surgery…as we used to say in the Marines, one day and a wake-up. Never EVER looked forward to surgery, even when I needed it, but just the thought of that Pancreatitus pain again scares the crap out of me.

No, I’m fine. One last job before the surgery, and my great neighbor will help me. I need to set out the new feeder and load it up with corn. Shouldn’t be too tough a job. Anything else will wait a month. But thanks much for the offer, TXHOGSLAYER. It is appreciated.

The wife, bless her, has quit crying about her brother, and everything else seems stable for now. She can’t make the funeral because of my surgery. The world is out of synch.
