10 days no cellphone, computers or other electronics. All I did was fish, visit, sit by the waterfront, eat ceviche de mariscos and drink fruity drinks and micheladas. I feel brand new.
The first 2 days were tough, realizing I had no way of communicating with the back home in the states. Then came the realization that the only thing that mattered was my wife was smiling and I was grinning.
I wish it was mine. We made friends with some locals and were able to make a few good deals on fishing trips. My favorite trips were on panga boats fast out and fast back in.

There was a time that I could do that. Now, my business relies on me too much and I can't be out of touch...the flip side of that coin is I do have the freedom to go wherever, whenever, and do whatever as long as I have cell reception.
At 12:01 AM, the instant I retired, I set my phone to only receive calls from known contacts in my contact list. Anyone else can't make it ring. It's wonderful.

I had to untie from the world. I can say I trained up the folks and they did great. I feel I might get to do this again before summer is out.
I've been there did you get up to La Bufadora? It's amazing! The lobster there is pretty good also.
Yes sir it was nice. Picked up a nice rifle case for $50 there. We didn't have any lobster but we ate lots of oysters and clams. Best part about making friends with the locals is the food they cook is awesome.
