Remindes me of the time I took a yankee from my home office. The buyer called him a peckerwood.

What’s a porch pirate? Asking for a friend

Re: Vaporized woodpecker - 04/30/21 01:40 PM

I watched a squirrel get zapped on the pole in our alley behind the house, knocked out the power to the neighborhood but I called the electric company and told them exactly where the problem was and they came out right away and got power restored. Squirrel was toast on the pole, left a bloody stain on the transformer.

I was heading into work one day and saw a small fire at the base of a power pole. I got out with a shovel and noticed a squirrel had been zapped (and deep fried) by the transformer before rocketing to the ground like a furry little comet. I had a smile on my face for the rest of the day.
