Said goodbye to our sweet Aussie today

Said goodbye to our sweet Aussie Bakana today. She has been a part of our lives for 14 years and we loved every minute of it. She was the biggest pain when we first rescued her but over the years as she got more and more comfortable her personality really came out. Then when Jaxton was born she really came out of her shell. When Jaxton was little he would crawl on her, pull on her hair, tackle her and she never once snapped at him. She loved her boy and her boy loved her. She will be missed but I’m comforted knowing she will no longer be in any pain or discomfort. We couldn’t have asked for a better or more loyal companion. I held her until her last breathe, one of the hardest things I’ve ever done. Love ya Kana.

I feel your pain, my wife's 13 year old beagle passed almost a year ago, and his cat brother who is 14 is at the vet now for a biopsy......

I hope your family gets over the pain soon.
