Texas Rangers 100% Opening Day

Texas Rangers 100% Opening Day - 03/10/21 07:48 PM

New's just hit the wire that Globe Life Park will be 100% open on opening day. They are asking people to wear masks, but can't imagine they'll enforce it. Kudo's to being the first sports franchise in all of pro sports to make this happen. up

Now if they had team worth watching. Just a shame what the owners have done to this franchise.

Not so fast. Went to the Ranch House in Gainsville for lunch today. Lady at front counter not wearing a mask told us if using the buffet you had to wear a mask. Get in line for buffet and there is a sign stating you have to put on plastic gloves which they provided to go down buffet line WTF!

Wife observed 3 cooks coming out of kitchen with no gloves or masks??

I didn't use either, ate lunch and left.

How stupid was this?

Funny thing, I googled the Astros to see yesterday and they still say they are at 25%. I can't wait for this to be over with. I won't take all the things for granted that we have been missing out on.

Knowing my luck, they will all kneel during the National Anthem

They put BLM on the back of the pitchers mounds last year.

I wouldn’t go even if admission was free. That’s how bad the Rangers will suck this year!

I plan on seeing quite a few games out there this year.
Wanted to go last year but I prefer people to cardboard cut outs.

Are you sure about that? I watched 2 minutes of NBA last season and changed the channel just because of that.

Btw, they do matter but I don't need a millionaire athlete telling me. It's common sense.

Local media is all over this story. And of course, as usual they're insinuating it's a bad idea. Jagg-offs rolleyes

Who goes to a baseball game just to see the game. MLB games are a hoot just for the fans, atmosphere, food, and “views.”

I will go check out the new stadium. Prefer Roughrider games.

Just saw on TV that they are at full capacity and sold out for the first game.

What I heard was 100% capacity for opening day, then cut back capacity %.

100% accurate, I’m a total fair weather fan. Hard to watch the crap they’ve fielded the last several years.

Sore loser because they did not have the right signals to beat the Astros?
