American flag theif!!!

So I had 2 of these American Flags in my flower bed. And noticed yesterday someone stole one!




Well this morning he tried to steal my other one, I caught him red handed!! At first I thought he was gonna take it to the top of the tree and stick up there, which I was cool with...



Then he started playing with it, I thought maybe he just wanted to stick it somewhere else, I was cool with that too.



Then he tried to run off with it, I chased him, he dropped it and ran off. So I put it back where was, I come back hour later it is gone!!



Need to get the pellet gun out!!!

You can catch one by climbing up Ina tree and acting like a nut.

I had that happen to me on the corner of our house a couple of times, thought it was some left wing libs until I saw a tree rat taking off with one.

LOL, yep! They love those small flags. I have a 440' wooden fence at the front of my property. Two big flags at the entrance (they don't mess with those), but I also nail those small American flags all the way down the top of my fence (10-15 of them). They don't last very long. Squirrels love to steal them for nesting material.

Funny my wife said we had 4 flags out there. I thought we had more out there, it just didn't really click with me that they were disappearing till yesterday. I been looking for squirrel's nest in my trees draped in red white and blue.

OUT!! 22 springer to the noggin is due.

LOL, thieving little suckers. I don't shoot my squirrels here (saving them for apocalypse food with the rabbits & neighborhood deer), but I've sure thought about it a time or two lol.
