What i learned

62 hours straight at the fd with 6 hours of sleep combined . People have no clue how to shut water off to their houses. Businesses are screwed with all the water damage .People abuse 911, a beeping smoke detector is not an emergency. People have nothing in their homes to survive if a service goes out . People were calling 911 saying they had a medical emergency, when we got there they would just ask if we could turn their water off and if we had generators.

I learned that in a pinch people see their fence as firewood.

Also, your pellet smoker dosent work in your house as a heater

People are overall just plain ol dumb idiots these days. Everybody uses “The Man” for all their problems, I’d bet 75% of the population would be dead inside 90 days if things got truly bad.

I hope its less time than that

remember when they were setting up NK to start WW3? We got some extended time when trump got in.

Im hoping this event would send folks packing back to their states. What will likely happen from this event is the masses will demand more government assistance

I agree with comment earlier that people look to the man to fix all their problems. And not sure if our generation was the last to take auto shop wood shop metal shop in high school and know how to fix/diy stuff to get by in life with their hands tools and brains... But it sure feels that way. The older I get the more I feel like Clint Eastwood's character in Gran Torino minus some of the HSOs. Definitely have the same tools, the know how and the M1.
