I talked to him this afternoon. I am going to be vague here but he is pretty messed up but he has come to and is responding though heavily sedated. The boy has a long road ahead of him and it is not going to be fun. Everyone's thoughts and prayers are really appreciated I promise.

Prayers for this child and his parents and medical staff.

UPDATE: It was pretty bad. He rolled his car. Broken hip, leg, and ribs. Collapsed lung. Tree branch in his shoulder. Possible brain swelling. He was stabilized at the hospital and has undergone a couple of surgeries.

They did a CT scan and said there is no brain damage, so that's a huge relief. He has the use of his arms, and the doctors feel pretty good about him being able to recover.

HUGE ANSWER TO OUR PRAYERS !!!!!

Got another update. My friends son is doing very well all things considered. He may be released from the hospital as early as this week. All praise be to God!

Received another update....still in the hospital but recovering well. The family has a great support network and are making modifications to their home to accommodate a wheelchair for a while. He’s young and strong so physically should heal well. Prayers for mental strength as well. Young man has gone through a great deal and has a lot to sort out mentally. Prayers for complete healing are still needed.

The family simply cannot expresses how grateful they are for your prayers and support. The THF is a blessed group filled with truly wonderful and amazing people.

God Bless every one of you.....you are appreciated more than you will ever know.....
