I don’t know if he was a great man but he could write songs and have a good time. I’ll bet the red headed stranger is the next one planted. All the old outlaws are on short time if they’re still around.

Billy Joe was one of my buddies friends so we got to hang out some. Get a chance listen to his song Wako from Waco .He sings about himself shooting a guy at a bar Between Lorena and Eddy. called Pappa Joes its a small bar right on I-35. RIP Billy Joe Shaver
