Not sure if you can find it elsewhere, but ABC 7 Amarillo posted the below video taken near Adrian, TX on the Book of Faces a couple days ago. I looked on their website and YouTube and couldn't find it. Also haven't seen it posted here... but pretty cool in any case. cool

There are quite a few big cats in the Panhandle, especially in the Lake Meredith Area. I see one once or twice a year.

I would think that the Canadian River valley, likely has a small reproducing population, it has similar habitat and is connected to an area in New Mexico that has a decent cougar population. Adrian is just a little south.

Lion for sure, seems kind of odd that it is out in broad daylight on a highway.

Yesterday there was also a post about a bear cub crossing the highway near Pampa. The Panhandle is becoming a real Wilderness.
