My neighborhood participates in flag program, $50 a year, they install the holder by the street curb put the flag up on holidays (new year, memorial day, 4th July, labor day...). Pretty high participation rate, kinda cool when you drive down the street with flags on both sides all the way down.

I had one at my old house on an old tower. Building one at my new house is on the to-do list.

I don't currently have a flag pole. I had one for 17 years at the last place.
I do fly the flag though for holidays.

Ditto.
You're my number 1 favorite pot head.
Light 'em up gentlemen, or else get off your butts and take it down every night. It's only proper. I lit mine 'cause I don't want to have to play To the Colors and Retreat every day. The neighbors would be pissed.

Yep, and solar light keeps it lit at night.

I used to fly one on patriotic holidays but now participate in the flag program offered by the local high school band. We now fly a family flag on the house that one of the kids gave us. But if Trump is re-elected, I plan to put the one up that I had been using before joining the high school program.

Trees in the way, however I do have a space near driveway. Electricy for light too. I will fix that.

me too, boy scouts do it, or should i say boy scout parents. lets leave it at this on the scouts and parents.

I do pay our local Rotary club twice to have them put them out on holidays by the driveway.

Do not know the brand but mine is 20' and it has 4 sections that collapse or expand to lower and raise our flags, problem is you cannot fly a flag at half mast/staff.
If I had it to do all over I would get one with a rope pull to raise and lower your flags so you can fly half mast/staff option.

I do this also in Texarkana....$35 a year for 6-7 times. The man putting up mine said that they had 4,300 that they did each holiday.
