Today looks like a good day for an afternoon cocktail.
If you're in, what's your choice?

Don't mind if I do. I got my Gator stuck one time while quail hunting. A cowboy stopped by and pulled me out. I offered him cash. He refused. I offered him a beer. He replied. I don't mind if I do.

In the middle of the week it's Cap'n Morgan Silver rum and Minute Made berry juice bumped around in the blender. Not so much that its frozen but enough its not on the rocks.

I'll start of with 12-15 Nattys then head over to the neighbors for a couple night caps of Crown and Seven.
Don't drink much on school nights, but it's been a rough couple of days at work. Probably have a vodka and tonic with a twist of lime when I get home.

Speaking of Gator, do you think June should take some art lessions?
Woodford Reserve Double Oak over a scotch ball.
If I'm making drinks in the summer time, Mojitos or Margaritas. Winter time, I like what I call the Dude, which is my slang for a White Russian.
Hard to beat my margarita, 3-2-1 with a splash and dash.
3 oz tequila, 2 oz Triple sec, Juice of one fresh squeezed lime, splash of club soda, dash of agave nectar. Shake, wet the rim of the glass with lime, salt, pour, drink.

Will either be an MGD or whisky and coke. The whisky is whatever the cheap bottle i found was, our liquor store is pretty picked over. Asked the cashier how business had been, she said sales were up but they were having trouble with some of their suppliers.

I recently discovered this and often have the same OTR. It's a surprisingly good bourbon for the money. Far from the best, but by far the best of the cheaper ones.

Bombay Sapphire Martini w/lemon twist (un-"watered down") + Micallef Nicaragua cigar. 'Feels like it might actually become Fall overnight. Maybe Scotch weather will finally be here and last a bit.

Hadn't shaken up a cocktail in a while, so I made this whiskey sour.
Not my favorite way to drink whiskey, but it is pretty.
