A Liberal. It’s Austin for crying out loud, they called 911 instead of shooting it.

"The animal control guy was a full grown man with training,” Arnold said. “But if a hog went after one of these kids it would end very badly I think"
Lol. Those Austin jackwagons haven't met my boy yet. If a 150 lb pig was in our back yard, it would have been on the smoker by the time I got home.

If someone would have capped that hog, those Austin libs would have thrown them under the jail for discarging a firearm, cruelty to animals. Then when they did get ouf Jail the PETA protesters would be trying to burn the guys house down.

I won't even drive through Austin

Animal control officers do not have guns!!?? Is that common? How do they euthanize injured animals?

Call the game warden or real police is my guess.

I think a lot of them are trained/licensed to also use euthanasia solution - but that doesn't help much in this case.

I wish the game warden would have showed up. This would have made a great episode of Lone Star Law.

A 150-200 pound pig on a catch pole??? Are you kidding me!! And they were trained to do this? By whom? Obviously by someone who had never done it or read about it in a book. Domesticated hogs on a snoot loop maybe but a feral hog that size NEVER! They'll eat your lunch in a heartbeat as he found out. I'd like to be a fly on the wall in their next safety meeting.

The hog was just resisting arrest until the supervisor he requested showed up.

Same, I would drive 2 hours out of the way to avoid that traffic infested nightmare city. Who in the heck calls animal control on a feral hog? Liberal pansies I suppose.

Austin tried to annex our area in the last few years, we are really lucky to be officially in Travis County instead.

Not sure what the courts would say about shooting a hog in the city limits, I guess you could argue it was self defense. Discharging fire arm in city limits caries a hefty fine.

Some can rope them or use their dog or dogs, hobble them, or use their knife quietly. Don't need to discharge a firearm, but whatever Austin....

My good friend & hunting buddy was in the very first episodes of that show. He and his wife.
