Name Change Police

So with all that is going on regarding this, my sister is being lambasted on Social Media for naming her rescue dog Dixie.Gone way too far IMO.
Rant over.

What does anyone expect from Facebook?

Not just Facebook but other platforms, sister is a Vet Tech and promotes saving animals from the BS that is the Humane Society and PETA.

Okay. What does anyone expect from social media, in general? It’s plumb full of idiots.

Thousands of dogs have been named Dixie. F' 'em.

She should get another dog and name it Rebel.

My Britts name has been Dixie for dang near 14 years. Piss off.

had a black cat growing up that we found as a kitten and literally peeled it off the road and named it tar baby. it was pointed out to us that this was racist even though me and my brother where very young when we came up with the name because she was a baby and covered in tar.

Many years ago we had a Golden named Dixie along with two black cats named Bosco and LeRoy .
