Close the schools. Shut down the Churches. Stifle the gun shops. Encourage the wearing of masks to take away individually. Make certain foods and goods unavailable. Stop all entertainment except radio and television that can be censored. . Looks and smells like Socialism is being installed under our noses and the Sheepeole are buying it wholeheartedly! I've never had a single disagreement with anybody, ever on Facebook, 'cause I never got on it. My grown kids have come full circle and hardly pay any attention to Facebook anymore.

We don't have to conform. I hope by this fall, anyone saying schools shouldn't resume will be considered a complete fool. Praying for all the small businesses to survive and become stronger. I'd rather be in Texas than anywhere else on earth right now.

I am not on Facebook. My wife has a page for our music and our business. She simply expressed her opinion about what has been going on and she was threatened by a libtard in the Dallas area.

Just to be clear, and not trying to stir the pot, but socialism is not what you mean here. We already have quite a few socialistic systems in the US with healthcare being a huge one, and public education being a close second. There are private sources of both those but they still are regulated by the govt and it’s entities.

You are speaking of more totalitarianism, or communism, where the govt controls everything from production to consumption of goods. In your example the goods could be considered the media as well (censorship). Your example is more in line with communist China.

I hate to disagree, really I do, but it is not “coming,” it is already here.
The foundation is already set, yet it is hidden, built in secret.
What we are witnessing now is the testing of that foundation.
Seeing what works and what has to be reinforced.
What is being tested?
Population- extent and how much will and will not be tolerated
In various areas. Freedoms/Constitution. Religion. Courts. Economy. Medical. Political. Law Enforcement.
There are more. Both domestically and foreign.

The powers that be are already working to adjust the foundation. The guns are a major issue! Major. Unless guns are isolated to a smaller population than they think. Trump was used as ground zero. Look at how he has been targeted. Covid was chosen as the initial population test. It was a good area to run out to see the reaction. Doctors are good to achieve compliance. Especially when death is possible.

The next test will probably be of the natural disaster variety. Easier for governments to seize during major fears.

So we have tested political, Trump. Medical. Natural will be next. The military has to be brought in and tested. In a non military action. I believe the whole “climate” issues will be rolled in.

This is a very minimal outline. America is at a crossroads. One side is going to win. Many will suffer. There really is not a compromise. Their cards are out on table. The truth is visible. The hate for “America” is in plain site.

I got beat by waves yesterday (and the sun, my skin doesn’t take kindly to sun) and the waves are bigger today so far...maybe later today they will die down. High tide is rolling in, I find the surf fishing is better as the tide is pulling out too, which happens toward evening. Did you see my catch list so far? Might have to make a separate thread for it...I edited another post you were on so you might have missed yesterday’s catches.
