What's your plan for getting a haircut?

So are we headed to a 70's flashback? I read a post on social media that a licensed barber can lose their license if they come to your home to cut your hair. Some have recommended YouTube videos to see how to cut your own hair. I'm one of those who can't stand for my hair to grow too long.

The funny thing is that you can take your pet to get it groomed without a hitch right now.

I found an old set of dog clippers with several guards that my wife had left if a drawer with ribbons for Muffin.

I've been cutting my own hair for 20 years due to my thriftiness. #3 guard on the clippers and go all over.

Same here. Haircuts are not on my list of concerns.

Wifeypoo cut mine this past week.

My wife sewed me a camo face mask but has refused to try giving me haircut once I need it. I'm thinking she might be only interested in helping with those things that will improve my looks.

I have a Ponytail that touches my Belt. My daughter trims around my neckline the ends and my ears. Had a ponytail when I went into the NAVY started growing it back out the day I retired.

Same clippers I’ve been using for years. See when you’re mostly bald vanity goes quickly.

Almost Cut My Hair..

Not much left except on the sides and back. I just buzz it clean every couple of weeks.

Been letting mine grow for the last year anyway, longest it's been since I was in my 20's.

I got a god close cut 9 days ago. I'm not sure what I'll do in about 3 weeks when it starts bugging me.

I always keep a high and tight haircut, but it really doesn’t matter. I am discovering there is a little more gray showing up since it has been growing out.

My wife cut hair for 20 years before working at TSU. She cut mine last week, but I cannot return the favor. I have received free hair cuts since 1984. I wonder how much that has save me.

With so many not wanting to look and feel ragged and barbers and hair stylists needing to eat and pay bills, I would not be surprised if it eventually becomes a matter of "don't ask, don't tell."

Ashley has been cutting mine for the last few years with a set of clippers. Barbershops haven’t been getting my money for awhile now.

Shave my own head. Had to shave my beard that I have had for five years in order to fit an N95 mask, that was/is the hardest part.

My barber called and asked if he could come to the house and cut my hair. I told him better not.

Figured he is hurting being out of work so I'm mailing him some money today.

My wife has been doing mine at home for years. Basically a boot camp cut with a slight Mohawk effect on top. We are talking a zero on the sides and a 1 1/2 for a strip about 2 inches wide on top. I quit barbers when it went to $10.00. That's $1.50 a corner.

Anyone willing to offer feedback if those YouTube videos are of any value to the hard pressed?

I’ve been too cheap to pay for a haircut for a long time. Wife does it with a set of clippers. Unfortunately with how fast it’s falling out she won’t have to worry about it much longer

Gillette Fusion for the head and I borrowed my Great Pyrenees Australian Shepherds Mix clippers from petsmart for the beard. I am glad I am bald and not having to worry about looking like Joe Exotic!

I’m letting it ride until the girl that cuts it is back in business. Once I find someone who can cut my hair the way I like it, I keep going to them until I move, they move, or they retire.

I could stand a hair cut too. I plan is to trim mine best I can until I can the girl that cuts mine is back in busienss. I'm guessing another 4-5 weeks.

I miss the trip to my lady barber, she is really cool, and now out of work.
The wife just ran a #4 over me with a #3 on the sides. It looks just like the barbershop cut I get.
I might have discovered a way to save a few bucks.

I got one about two weeks ago. I told the barber to go a little shorter this time, it might be a while before I can come back.

My kids are fighting over who gets to cut my hair.

Keep seeing those ads for “Manscaping” and the wife happened to walk by when one was on the page I was reading so I said, Babe, maybe I need to catch up with the fashion of the day? We locked eyes for a split second and both of us burst out laughing.
I guess the fashion train has left my station.
