Yep. I grew up in Arkansas just across the river from Memphis.

Not sure how that relates to the story.

Memphis is a beautiful place.

Yup I was there working a Glass Shop at Brooks & HWY51 It took forever to get home and back to work for a long time traffic was so bad.

I’ve yet to see a good area in Memphis and I was flying in and out of there every other week for over a year.

Apparently my sarcasm didn't convey very well. It is a cesspool.

I won’t stop for gas in Memphis...it’s a craphole I go out of my way to avoid....

I grew up in and around Memphis between 1945 and 1966. There was a time when Memphis was a very nice, quiet, and safe town. Like many cities, the liberals took over the government and Memphis became the cesspool it now is.

The city of Memphis is a dump. Over all this story doesn't surprise me. LOL I like to visit because they have great live music but other than that, I steer clear of Memphis city limits. Get out near Germantown, Collierville, or Lakeland and its pretty nice. Good hunting and fishing in the outskirts.

The first time I saw the Bass Pro Shop on the west side, thought it was a mega-church.
