They can tag him, and will tag him if a deal is not done.

Just a bunch of talking heads needing to get clicks.

Re: Brady to Cowboys? - 02/11/20 03:24 PM

This talk is just fluff to get Dak to sign. They want to make it look like they are planning for life without Dak, but the truth is Jerry has very little interest in Brady. Dak wants elite QB money, but Dak aint elite. I wouldn't blame Jerry if he moved on from Dak (he wont) but I seriously doubt Brady is on Jerrys radar.

I hope you are wrong. I’d love to have Brady here for 2 years. Then we don’t have to pay big money for the replacement QB we would draft and he could learn a lot from Brady over 2 years.

Re: Brady to Cowboys? - 02/11/20 06:05 PM

This will be a McCharty decision, McClay will weigh in, Jerry will rubber stamp.

I would be all for Brady, especially if the alternative is over paying for Dak, or if he holds out with the tag, I had enough of all that hold out BS last year with zeek.

They over paid big time all 3 players last year. First they should have never paid Zeke the nose ring freak that had 2 years left on his contract , they should have said No play No pay C Ya! Another should not have given big money to D Law, what kind of crap is that he would not submit to a physical regarding his banged up shoulder until after they sign him, does that seem butt azz backwards? Then there is Jaylon Smith with all of his BS bravado and meager results, he sure ain't earning his keep either hammer

BTW Brady to Cowboys ain't happening!

I was a little harsh on Jaylon for I sort of like him also, every year his production gets a little better. I like enthusiasm but do not care for all of the theatrics he makes after a play.
