There’s no denying it: Waking up with a hangover can be awful. The intense headache coupled with random waves of nausea is usually enough to make you consider giving up drinking forever (or at least until next weekend).

But there’s more to it than just feeling like crap. Your body and brain are working overtime to help you recover from those beverages.

Curious what’s actually happening internally the day after drinking?

Hmmm gave up alcohol 10 years ago. My life is way better for it.

Very seldom ever drink enough to get a hangover. It has probably been 4 years since I last had a hangover. I think it was my first encounter with Ruby Red Vodka
I hardly ever drink during the week and as a matter of fact I did not have a drink for 13 days up until last Sunday

I was once a regular drinker now I just binge on the weekends. Just kidding. After my first 3 day hangover I toned it down a lot.

Almost 4 yrs here.

I learned moderation years ago I haven't had a hangover since.

I can’t really remember when it was - it’s been a long while back since I drank any alcohol.
But my recollection is I had finally got to a level where the hangovers were either not there or not noticeable. At least to me lol.
Took a fair amount of practice to get to that point though.
