Gettin Cold....

Was sitting in the stand earlier when it hit. It was the most impressive cold front I’ve ever watched come in. Heard it for a full minute before it got there.

Pretty chilly with the wind. I may have to run out to the lease and turn on the space heater tomorrow - supposed to be in low 20's out there. Wind chill here at the house is 23* and dropping.

I know what you mean. I fished at Stillhouse this morning in shorts and a t-shirt and watched it coming from the NW. Got my bibs and jacket on about the time it hit like a train.

I was sitting outside on my upstairs deck about 100' from the lake, and I watched it, and heard it churning up the water 4 miles out as it came in full bore. There was a dazzling display of color as a wall of leaves came off the trees.

It was 72 degrees at noon. And, BANG, the front blew in. It’s 32 degrees cooler at 3 pm. Wind is howling. I’m heading to the stand shortly.

We had a yard full of leaves. They headed south at 30 mph.

In the blind outside of Moran where it’s 29 and sleeting pretty good. Colder than a well diggers arse! Testing the “deer don’t move in the wind” theory! Feeder spins at 4:15. We’ll see.

Not sure. It's a full 48 inches all the way through the tailgate. It's served me well. Don't care for the bucket seats.

Our old mule has served us well too, 19 years old. Steering isn't sloppy, wheel bearings still good.
Replaced engine seals and gaskets. And rear axle seal last year. Pretty easy to work on.
I think it's bed weight is 450 pounds, and tows 900.
