This one is the voice of reason. She’s only been in one altercation. I brought home a grown Shorthair pup 2 years ago and the Shorthair wanted to be top bitch. The black and white Brit is the top bitch anywhere she goes. She put the Shorthair down in a hurry and little orange Lucy piled on. The Shorthair learned her place in the pack. Poor Shorthair pouted for days but learned a lesson. That’s the only time I’ve seen orange Lucy get mad.

Lucy’s first year in the field she was on the ground by herself and had three coyotes after her and she got back to me in record time.

It’s fun letting them all out at once and watching dogs be dogs.
