Scaggs death accidental overdose

I couldn't get the link to stay still so I'll just paraphrase. The cause of death for Tyler Skaggs was ruled an accidental overdoes by the medical examiner. Tyler Skaggs was the Los Angels pitcher who was found dead in his hotel room. Drugs and alcohol were found in his blood.

What about the little girl down the street with leukemia, the wreck that killed a woman last week when a hog hit her motorcycle? Wake and remove your heads! Woe to rich and famous? I think not.

They found OxyContin, fentanyl and alcohol in his system and he choked on his vomit in his sleep. The parents said an investigator found that an Angels employee provided him with the drugs and an article I read yesterday quoted an Rangers team doctor saying that the MLB doesn’t allow team doctors to prescribe or provide opioids to players, they must be prescribed by an outside physician.

When u swallow oxy and especially fentanyl, u know u have issues, very selfish thing to do on his part

He just wanted to get wasted and blacked out, instead he took the OD. Rookie Mistake that he will not make again...….

My thoughts when I read the story in the morning paper. I was an easy out for his family and he did not intend to kill himself.

Yes, they're just saying his death was accidental. He ingested the drugs intentionally but he didn't intend to kill himself. They have to classify the manner of death as either homicide, suicide, accidental, natural, or undetermined.

They ought to add another classification....Poor Judgement

There generally isn't foul play involved in most OD cases. 99% of them are accidental or suicide.
