College football: Your team record predictions.

I did this last year, and no one wanted to go on record....... I did, and i was right and wrong. I didn't think they would get to a the big 12 championship game, or a new year's six bowl. Step up and go on record, and we will revisit next year. Let's hear them.

This year 11-1 win big 12, then lose bowl game. Finish around top 5.....with 12-2 record.

Lose to Clemson in NC.

Injuries is always an X factor for any team.

Ags should go 10-2. I hope.

Bama plays one game a year, and its the MNC, and lost it last year. They shouldn't even count the games they play against lesser divisions. their record will look more like 3-2 after they lose the MNC and discounting the patsies they play. They lose to OH st in the MNC, and LSU and someone else in the regular season.

Texas will lose to Oklahoma, again. Count on it. They will also drop one against LSU, and another probably to someone like Baylor. Best record is 9-3 and that's the best they will do.

Wisky drops to OH St, NW, and possible Iowa this year. If they play Penn St they lose to them as well. When your top fruit is beating Minnesota, you need to re-adjust your goals in life...



(BTW, this is all for fun guys, just fooling with ya. I really have no idea how any of this will play out)

OK here's my serious post, Ohio State shocks the country with a stout defense and a great offense behind first year HC Ryan Day, goes undefeated in regular season and plays in the playoff as the two seed, facing Alabama (who with one loss makes the three seed) and beating them to make it to the final against Clemson who we beat in a nail biter. Clemson (number 1 seed given their win in last years championship), also undefeated in regular season, plays Oklahoma as the number four seed, and beats them soundly, beginning the uprorar against Lincoln Riley as a head coach who can win in regular season but can't finish the deal.

My team will tag out in the mountains in September with our bows to start the season then head home and whack some teal, come October more blood will be spilled in the oak bottoms of north Texas then we will finish the season strong with our rifles.

We will go undefeated.

Aggies will go 9-3 including a win over Alabama.

Its a good thing a buckeye is not a critter, we shall poison your badgers and make them vomit all over the field. Big win for the buckeyes.

All others settle for 10 wins.

Georgia is a pretender, has been irrelevant for the title in many years. Only reason they are in the convo is because the SEC east has been so weak since Meyer left florida. Get some real teams in the East and then we can see how good Georgia is.
Same thing with OU. Pretenders in a sham conference. They have thrived on the absence of a good texas team for many years, but that is going to come to a halt soon.

Only real contenders year in and year out are Clemson (toughest game in conference is Syracuse, seriously??) Alabama, and a distant third OSU. OSU should have been in the mix a couple times when they were shut out for whatever political reasons, but they have had NC caliber teams more than any other team save Alabama. A stupid loss here and a political ACC ally in the playoff committee that isn't tied straight to Clemson, and Clemson get the playoff nod over OSU in some years, but that's another story. Either way, OU and Georgia are not real NC or bust type teams.

OU gets in due to weak Big12. All they have to do is beat Texas.

The difference is when Clemson gets in, they win.

Rolltide you had OU outside the top 4 last year, and I told you they should be in. Now you have them in and they should be out........

Probably be a rough year for Wyoming again, I'm happy of we go 6-6. Maybe we can beat Texas State this year, game is in San Marcos.
We don't make many, if any games, hunting season is full blown by football season.

I thought I correctly predicted the playoff last year.

Yep. I predict 4 losses for the Pokes, unfortunately. OU, Texas, Baylor, and TCU. We will win a bowl game and have a solid QB (Sanders) to maximize a run next year.

I was told the difference between the marijuana leaf and a buckeye leaf is the number of lobes, marijuana having 7 and buckeye with 5. However, that isn't the case as I believe some marijuana plants will have 5 lobes. I have an Oh St scrub cap I wear when I operate sometimes that is a buckeye leaf, and the looks I get when I wear it are funny. I don't wear it often due to the constant discussion about marijuana it brings up. Didn't have those issues just a few years back. funny how legalizing recreational in Colorado made everyone in TX more keen to marijuana, or at least willing to talk about it.

Aggies are going to finish with 3 losses I hope, that would be a good year IMO

BTW, the buckeye nut is what Brutus' head is, a brown smooth nut with a light brown spot on it. It comes packaged in a spiked husk and the tree is a large hardwood that is good for lumber.

TCU 9-3 with wins over Texas and Oklahoma

GA Tech will go 6-6, maybe even 5-7, get invited to some 3rd rate bowl and the school will make it sound like it was another awesome season. They’ll probably play a close 1st half against Clemson and Georgia and then lose to both after getting blown out in the second half. They’ll also crush a couple of schools no one has ever heard of before. Rinse, repeat and then they’ll do the same thing next year.

I also will follow Nebraska, to see what Frost can do.

Might watch a little Miami, see if Tate Martell plays.

Yep. They play 4 of the top 7 teams in the country and only have one at home. I think they have there best team in years, but the schedule is a beast.

Im a Tech fan and see a 5-7 record and potentially a 6-6 on the optimistic side.

Oklahoma wins the big 12 again. Texas has 2-3 loses. My Baylor bears win one more game than last year so Baylor has an 8 win season.

The Houston Cougars get a lot of press and air time in my area. Hove a soft spot in my heart for them.

Predicting UH will go 8-4 this year. Contemplating driving up to Norman to see them play in a couple weeks, but I have a feeling it's not going to be a pretty game.

Two weeks from today it all begins.

At least Dana knows what to expect of OU, so maybe there is a chance UH covers that 25 point spread.

UH picked up some good transfer players. May be better than we think.

Alabama’s staring Will linebacker, Mcmillon, is out for the season. The starting Sam transferred to Houston about 3 weeks ago.

These are the unknown factors that will come into play later in the year.

Yep, starting RB, and safety went down in first scrimmage yesterday. Haven't heard how bad yet.
