Cant help you with that particular company, but I can applaud your decision on going custom. I had a pair of work boots custom fit. My legs from my hips to my toes feel so much better. Has also greatly reduced the frequency of lower back pain.

I have had a hard time finding boots, I'm a 11 1/2 and have to get a EE or EEE.

Tecovas dont make them wide enough. I need a custom "last". I found a great company, guy is in Wichita Falls. He will come to Frisco and custom measure my feet. They do take about 3-4 months, the wedding is in June, so I'm getting a head start.

Only downside is the START at $1400 !!! One of those "cry once", "you get what you pay for " deals.

I am actually friends with Chris, I haven't pulled the trigger on a pair of his boots yet. But I have talked to others who have had custom shoes in general made, the general consensus is that once you get a pair that's all you will want to wear.

Dustin Lauw in Salado is another good one. I haven’t personally used his boots but have seen them.

Most custom guys are 6 months so plan accordingly

I have 3 pairs of their boots because of the wide foot fitting and quality. I don't like what they have been putting out recently and they have gone to 13" tops which I don't care for.

I had a pair of lace up work boots custom made a few years back and it was one of the best decisions I ever made. They fit so well my old favorite shoes feel like somebody else's hand me downs.
