Brush Hog question - 07/04/19 10:38 PM
Anyone ever had a brush hog gearbox repaired or is it cheaper just to put a new one on it? Looks like they had too big of a shear bolt in it, broke the input shaft around the bolt hole. There is still about 2-3 inches sticking out, and the assembly still spins freely and feels tight.
Picked this thing up as a package with some other equipment. I'm going to sell it so I dont want to invest too much if I dont have to unless I can get a return on it.
